Spotlight poem: "Morning Came, Despair"
by Coco

Morning came and you were there
you stretched your hand out, but I did not dare
I could not take it or need it , despair

What is it like to need, to totally embrace
to lose yourself in the unknown, a whisper, a dream,
not think, not fear, not sense the impending winds of
destruction always so near.

How do I turn off this feeling of despair, I want
so much to need  you, to want you there, why was
I not born with this need to need, to feel, to care
without question or despair

No matter now you have moved your hand away,
your face has a shadow, I think it's despair
